Excursions

Option 1 - Gulf Tour

Departure at 10:00 am from the port of Cala Gonone.

First, stop at the beautiful beach of Cala Luna where we will stop for about 2 hours.
Guests can sunbathe on the beach or take a bath, re-boarding is scheduled for 12:30.

Once departed during the navigation an aperitif will be served and guests will be able to see the whole coast until Cala Goloritze including the famous “Venus’ pools”, the fisherman’s cove, the beautiful cormorants’ cave, and many other small coves. For every visit, there will be a well-detailed explanation of the whole coast.

Disembark is scheduled at 13:30 (approximately) on the beautiful beach of Cala Mariolu, one of the most beautiful beaches in the Mediterranean. where there will be a one-hour stop.
In the afternoon navigation will be resumed heading to Cala Sisine where the last visit will take place.

Guests will get back to the port around 17:30.

Option 2 - Jeep excursion

Jeep excursion through Supramonte of Dorgali.

The greatness and variety of the landscape of the Dorgali territory, which extends from the mountains towards the sea, is reflected in the distinction between maritime Supramonte, overlooking the blue sea of the Orosei Gulf, and Western Supramonte, which is more inland. The Oddoene Valley separates the rough mountainous area of the hinterland characterized by Mount Offeu and Mount Tiscali, becoming smoother towards the east overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea.

TIMING:

h. 09.00 Meeting with the guides and departure from the hotel by jeeps for the panoramic tour in the Supramonte of Dorgali; during the tour, there will be stops to admire the landscape.
h. 12.00 Visit the nuraghe Mannu
The archaeological site dates back to the Bronze Age (XVI-VI sec. BC) and is formed by a simple nuraghe surrounded by a Nuragic and Roman settlement, with several huts, extending over two hectares. The nuraghe is of the simple dome type (tholos), built with large polyhedral basalt boulders arranged in irregular rows.
h. 13.00 Lunch in a local farmhouse: Mixed cold cuts, olives, Pecorino cheese Sweet and sour vegetables; Sardinian pasta with pork sauce and pecorino cheese;
Sheep stew; Roast suckling pig and salad; Seasonal fruit; Seadas (Sardinian dessert made with pasta, ricotta, and honey); Water + red wine (Cannonau) + Caffè + digestive (myrtle or Filuferru)
h. 16.00 Return to the hotel in Cala Gonone
